Introducing InsightJuror

InsightJuror Provides Real Time Juror Profiles To Litigators and Jury Consultants

3.24.04- InsightAmerica a leader in providing sophisticated access to public records and other publicly available information, today announced InsightJuror, a powerful new tool that assists litigators and jury consultants in selecting jurors for trial. InsightJuror profiles jurors based on information from scores of federal, state and public record databases that include identity data, property, addresses, liens and judgments, bankruptcy, party affiliation, criminal records and much more. The prosecution or defense attorneys can use this information to infer each juror's socioeconomic status, experience with the legal system, and suitability for the case under trial.

"Jury selection is an important part of our legal system. We've had a number of attorneys ask us for a tool that helps them understand potential jurors they are to evaluate, thereby increasing the effectiveness of the voir dire process," remarked Ron Fournet, CEO of InsightAmerica. "We developed InsightJuror as an easy to use solution to the jury selection problem." Litigators submit names from a jury pool to InsightJuror from any Internet connected computer, including wired or wireless laptops, PCs and Windows-based PDAs. InsightJuror returns a real-time report rank ordering the juror pool based on selection criteria previously established by the attorney. Criteria include address stability, professional licenses, business and corporations, property ownership, bankruptcies, judgments and liens, party affiliation and much more. Attorney's can use this information as a strong foundation for their juror questioning during voir dire.

InsightJuror makes the most advanced use of information and analytic software to enable a fast, efficient, cost-effective and highly customizable process for informed juror selection. Scoring capabilities as well as detailed reports rank prospective jurors in order of suitability. Case management tools make it easy for the attorney to manage multiple cases over time.

Remarked Fournet, "InsightJuror is yet another innovative example of how InsightAmerica is using multi-sourced information to help Americans protect themselves, their businesses and their communities from risk. Jury selection has always been difficult. But InsightJuror enables attorneys to select a quality jury and therefore further support the American legal system. Getting this information used to be cost prohibitive if not impossible. With InsightJuror, good information becomes obtainable and affordable for any jury case."
